Wow, I can’t tell how long I’ve been battling this. Ugh. And my lovely clients have been so understanding of me on this one.
So, what is the SMTP Error Code 554, DKIM, DMARC authentication failure?
First of all, let me make this clear from the start, this is hardly something you’ll ever see if you’re using Gmail or something and what I mean by that is, you won’t have this problem with an email that has the extension of gmail, Yahoo, etc.
This problem is unique to accounts that use professional email IDs. For example, if you use Google workspace, if you use a professional email from Godaddy or any other service of such kind, you may run into this problem and it happens mostly because professional email systems need something that’s called DNS settings, it’s only when the DNS settings are configured incorrectly that this issue arises.
How to solve this error code for DKIM, DMARC, 554
For every unique domain name, this key is unique. And the only way to fix it would be to get in touch and contact your professional email provider.
This is exactly why, I recommend getting your professional emails from reputed companies. I personally use Google for my custom email, and the customer service diligently helped me sort out the problem!
Hope this has helped you understand what this error is about and now you can finally tackle it.
